As part of our current exhibition 'The Waste of Time' an installation by Di Jones, we are offering a free workshop.
Come and have a fun creative time making art with domestic waste plastic and plastic debris found on Thames beaches in East London.
Make a large freestyle construction using food and drink
packaging. Create a den or totem to add to ‘The Waste of Time’ installation.
Investigate plankton - micro organisms that drift in our rivers and seas - and see what fantastical planktonic creature you can invent using our collection of colourful plastic debris.
We will be exploring simple building techniques and image making with a lightbox and overhead projector.
