Work with an artist and make under the sea themed creatures using our selection of materials collected by The Wot Project. Play with simple stop frame animation and bring them to life.
These activities are suitable for children and families but will be really fun for adults too!
Saturday 12th October
2 - 5pm
No need to book, just turn up.
Explore making techniques using waste plastic material and a lightbox. Your work will become a part of our london wide collection and help to raise awareness about the dangers of single use plastics in our waterways.
The WoT Project is a collaboration between Red Door Studios and Artist Di Jones. Through regular workshops we are building up a collection of artworks made by communities, using our collection of waste plastics found along the Thames beaches. As well as teaching making skills we are researching, gathering information, ideas and encouraging discussion and action around the environmental challenges that face us and future generations.
