WASTE NOT WORKSHOPS / by Guest User

We would like to introduce the 'Waste Not Workshops' project which Red Door artists have received funding for from Newham Council!

We have a 6-month arts programme of diverse workshops for all ages and skillsets for FREE!

We are asking residents to drop off their waste to us and together we will create artwork and usable items from the waste at a rate consistent with the statistics for MSW by material.

Alongside this we will be collecting litter from our parks over the 6 month period and we will create a responsive piece of artwork to provoke discussion and aid in the community's efforts to preserve our open spaces. This will culminate in an exhibition which will be open from the 1st-31st of May 2023.
